“The World from our Doorstep”lessons continue….

Although the project "The World from our Doorstep ", where ARCI was  a partner, has finished, its lessons continue to inspire teachers and students! For several  consecutive years, the  project topics related to sustainable development, interconnections in the globalized world, and consumption of goods  motivate young and adults for actions. Lessons from " The World from our Doorstep " were presented as good practices at the 6th National Global Education Conference in Sofia, Bulgaria where participants had the opportunity to exchange experience sharing best practices  from their everyday work in the implementation of the principles, philosophy and tools of the global education Teachers from "Vasil Levski" High School, in Glavinitsa town, Silistra district, using what they have  learned, presented their good practice: "The  Bread's journey ", aiming to educate their students in a responsible attitude towards nature, respect for the work of people who prepare bread, knowledge of the traditions of the bread making, necessary skills for baking bread and teamwork.
